Postmark Webhooks
Transactional email service. Receive events for deliveries, bounces, opens, clicks, and spam complaints.
Connecting Postmark to Hookbase
Create a source in Hookbase first — it gives you an ingest URL to paste into Postmark. Then:
- 1Go to Postmark → Servers → your server → your message stream → Webhooks and click Add webhook
- 2Paste your Hookbase ingest URL as the webhook URL
- 3Under custom headers, add a header named Authorization and set its value to the Authorization header value Hookbase generated for this source
- 4Leave the basic HTTP auth credentials empty: Postmark would send its own Authorization header and every delivery would be rejected
- 5Select the events to send and save the webhook
Signature verification
Set the source's provider to postmark and paste the signing secret. Every request is checked before the event is stored, and anything that fails is rejected rather than quietly recorded.
