Connecting Zoom to Hookbase
Create a source in Hookbase first — it gives you an ingest URL to paste into Zoom. Then:
- 1Go to Zoom Marketplace → Develop → Build App → Webhook Only
- 2Under Feature, click "Add Event Subscriptions"
- 3Paste your Hookbase ingest URL as the Event notification endpoint
- 4Copy the Secret Token and add it to your Hookbase source
- 5Add the events you want to subscribe to
Signature verification
Set the source's provider to zoom and paste the signing secret. Every request is checked before the event is stored, and anything that fails is rejected rather than quietly recorded.

A meeting.started payload. Hookbase stores the raw body exactly as it arrived, so this is also what you get back on a replay.
