Asana Webhooks
Project management platform. Receive events for tasks, projects, stories, and team changes.
Connecting Asana to Hookbase
Create a source in Hookbase first — it gives you an ingest URL to paste into Asana. Then:
- 1Create a webhook via the Asana API: POST /webhooks
- 2Set the target URL to your Hookbase ingest URL
- 3Set the resource to a project, task, or workspace GID
- 4Asana sends a handshake request — your endpoint must echo the X-Hook-Secret header
- 5The secret from the handshake is used for subsequent signature verification
Signature verification
Set the source's provider to asana and paste the signing secret. Every request is checked before the event is stored, and anything that fails is rejected rather than quietly recorded.
