Fathom Webhooks
AI meeting recorder and note-taker. Sends a single event once a recorded meeting finalizes, with the transcript, summary, and action items you choose to include.
Connecting Fathom to Hookbase
Create a source in Hookbase first — it gives you an ingest URL to paste into Fathom. Then:
- 1Go to Fathom → Settings → API Access and generate an API key if you don't have one
- 2Click "Manage" → "Add Webhook" and paste your Hookbase ingest URL
- 3Choose which meetings trigger it (my recordings, shared with me, internal, external, or all) and which content to include (transcript, summary, action items, CRM matches)
- 4Copy the webhook secret (whsec_...) shown after creation and add it to your Hookbase source
- 5Fathom signs requests per the Standard Webhooks spec — verify using the webhook-id, webhook-timestamp, and webhook-signature headers
Signature verification
Set the source's provider to standard-webhooks and paste the signing secret. Every request is checked before the event is stored, and anything that fails is rejected rather than quietly recorded.

Fathom event types
1 of the events people route most often. Hookbase accepts every event Fathom sends, whether or not it is listed here.
new-meeting-content-ready
A recorded meeting finalized and the requested content (transcript, summary, and/or action items) is ready. This is currently the only webhook event Fathom supports.

A new-meeting-content-ready payload. Hookbase stores the raw body exactly as it arrived, so this is also what you get back on a replay.
