Connecting Coinbase Commerce to Hookbase
Create a source in Hookbase first — it gives you an ingest URL to paste into Coinbase Commerce. Then:
- 1In Coinbase Commerce, go to Settings → Webhook subscriptions
- 2Click "Add an endpoint" and paste your Hookbase ingest URL
- 3Click "Show shared secret", copy the Shared Secret and paste it into your Hookbase source
- 4Events fire as charges move through payment states
Signature verification
Set the source's provider to coinbase-commerce and paste the signing secret. Every request is checked before the event is stored, and anything that fails is rejected rather than quietly recorded.

What a Coinbase Commerce webhook looks like
A charge:confirmed payload. Hookbase stores the raw body exactly as it arrived, so this is also what you get back on a replay.
