Mollie (Next-gen webhooks) Webhooks
Mollie's signed, event-based webhooks. Receive payment, refund, chargeback, payment link and payout events, each signed with HMAC-SHA256.
Connecting Mollie (Next-gen webhooks) to Hookbase
Create a source in Hookbase first — it gives you an ingest URL to paste into Mollie (Next-gen webhooks). Then:
- 1In the Mollie Dashboard go to Developers → Webhooks and create a webhook (or use the Hooks API)
- 2Set the URL to your Hookbase ingest URL and choose the event types to receive
- 3Copy the webhook's signing secret and paste it into this source in Hookbase
- 4Send a test event from Mollie and check it arrives with a valid signature
Signature verification
Set the source's provider to mollie and paste the signing secret. Every request is checked before the event is stored, and anything that fails is rejected rather than quietly recorded.
