Container registry. Receive events when new images are pushed to repositories.
Connecting Docker Hub to Hookbase
Create a source in Hookbase first — it gives you an ingest URL to paste into Docker Hub. Then:
- 1Go to Docker Hub → Repository → Webhooks
- 2Click "Create Webhook" and name it
- 3Paste your Hookbase ingest URL
- 4Webhooks fire on every push to the repository
Signature verification
Docker Hub does not sign its webhooks with an HMAC scheme, so a signing secret on the source would have nothing to verify. Use a custom source with no secret, and keep the ingest URL itself hard to guess.
How Docker Hub secures them instead: Docker Hub webhooks do not support signature verification. Use a unique source slug as a shared secret.
