Connecting Pipedrive to Hookbase
Create a source in Hookbase first — it gives you an ingest URL to paste into Pipedrive. Then:
- 1Go to Pipedrive → Settings → Tools and apps → Webhooks
- 2Click "Create new webhook" and paste your Hookbase ingest URL as the Endpoint URL
- 3Select the event action and event object
- 4Enter the username and password Hookbase generated in the HTTP Auth username and HTTP Auth password fields
- 5Save. Pipedrive sends them as an Authorization: Basic header, which Hookbase checks (Pipedrive does not sign webhooks)
Signature verification
Set the source's provider to pipedrive and paste the signing secret. Every request is checked before the event is stored, and anything that fails is rejected rather than quietly recorded.

- Pipedrive → Settings → Tools and apps → Webhooks → Create new webhook → HTTP Auth username / HTTP Auth password. Pipedrive sends these as Authorization: Basic; it does not sign webhooks. Hookbase stores base64(username:password) for you.

What a Pipedrive webhook looks like
A create.deal payload. Hookbase stores the raw body exactly as it arrived, so this is also what you get back on a replay.
