Trello Webhooks
Kanban-style project management. Receive events for cards, lists, boards, and member changes.
Connecting Trello to Hookbase
Create a source in Hookbase first — it gives you an ingest URL to paste into Trello. Then:
- 1Create a webhook with the Trello API: POST /1/tokens/{token}/webhooks
- 2Set callbackURL to your Hookbase ingest URL, exactly as shown (Trello signs the URL it was given, so a changed trailing slash or host breaks verification)
- 3Set idModel to the board, list or card to watch
- 4Trello sends a HEAD request to the callback URL when you create the webhook; Hookbase answers it with 200 automatically
- 5Paste your app's Secret (Trello Auth tab) into your Hookbase source. Trello signs every delivery with it in X-Trello-Webhook
Signature verification
Set the source's provider to trello and paste the signing secret. Every request is checked before the event is stored, and anything that fails is rejected rather than quietly recorded.

What a Trello webhook looks like
A createCard payload. Hookbase stores the raw body exactly as it arrived, so this is also what you get back on a replay.
