Connecting Sentry to Hookbase
Create a source in Hookbase first — it gives you an ingest URL to paste into Sentry. Then:
- 1Go to Sentry → Settings → Developer Settings
- 2Create an Internal Integration or use an existing one
- 3Under Webhooks, paste your Hookbase ingest URL
- 4Select the resource subscriptions (issues, errors, etc.)
- 5Copy the Client Secret for signature verification
Signature verification
Set the source's provider to sentry and paste the signing secret. Every request is checked before the event is stored, and anything that fails is rejected rather than quietly recorded.

What a Sentry webhook looks like
A issue.created payload. Hookbase stores the raw body exactly as it arrived, so this is also what you get back on a replay.
